Is there such a beast ?

W/o having a .mac a/c, nor "Back to my iMac"

I was wondering if there is software that automatically sends a built in iMac iSight camera to the internet every so often, perhaps to an email address ?

Probably using a discreet email app.

Similar to "Periscope" but more discreet.

Useful for home monitoring, stolen iMac recovery ?

Or even just out of interest, weather logging etc.

Something like https://www.getdropbox.com/ could do this for you if you have an app set up to take the pictures in the first place. I've used an app called IveZeen in the past to record video once motion is detected but I haven't tried to pair it with my dropbox yet.

I'm sure Evological - EvoCam could do this.

Create this workflow, then get the Automator Loop Utility to run it at regular intervals.
