In some text that I've clipboarded in from the web, I must remove all spaces, and some cannot be found by the "search" of MS Word 2004. I've tried a regular space (typed in), white space (^w), nonbreaking space (^s), and nonbreaking space (typed) but nothing works, and some of the spaces still remain, so I must remove them manually which defeats the purpose of doing a global search-and-replace.
Does anyone know what's happening and how to fix it so the "search and replace" will work properly?
