I have Adobe Reader, Photoshop Elements 4, Shockwave etc on my Intel Mini running OS 10.4.11.

I have purchased Elements 6 and plan to move to OS 10.5 very shortly. I've noticed that over time when you upgrade Adobe software that you end up with lots of files from old versions still on your HD. Given the fact that Adobe applications apparently share some folders it difficult to tell which stuff should be trashed and which should not.

Would it make sense to delete everything Adobe move on to 10.5 and then reinstall whatever Adobe software I want to that I start with everything fresh?

Thanks,

Are you doing an upgrade, or a complete erase and install? If you erase and install, you'll of course start out fresh and not worry about it. If you just do the upgrade, it might make sense to delete all the files regarding Adobe and start fresh that way.
