does anyone know if it's possible to manage how long iTunes keeps podcasts for each subscription? I dont want to keep all episodes of one, but i do want to keep all of another. Is that automatically possible? thanks!

Or just download the podcast you want and add it to your ITunes library manually. It'll be treated as a separate file.

Oh, each subscription – just right-click on the subscription, and choose “Do Not Auto Delete”.
