Not sure with the topic section to post this as there is no section that I can see for OD or OS X server.


Ok, so this is driving me nuts. The computer was bound for testing and then was removed properly by unbinding it, then removing the LDAP connection to the server. Once computer was re-imaged and now go to bind to the OD server, I get the following message "Computer Record Exists" and asks if I want to over write the current one. If I select overwrite, just says "Unexpected Error".

I checked the server and the computer is no longer in the list of available computer and still says it's there when client goes to bind. I have gone as far as to remove all client computer from the OD server and still says that one is there. Clients and server have both been restarted and still nothing. Even if I change the client computer name, same error.

All computers are fully updated.

This is now driving me nuts. Gives the option to over write .... yet does not. Why bother putting the option there if the function can not force or do the task?
