Let's start all over again ... sorry for the bonehead error yesterday - been working those 25 hour days for the past couple of weeks - shows!

"I'm using a 1.25 GHz PowerPC G4 ... before my current LEOPARD instillation, my Address Book worked like a charm - now I get a "You cannot use this version of the application Address Book with this version of Mac OS X" message box. However, IF I search out a name in my Address Book, it shows up as a 'contact' - and upon clicking on that, I get the Address Book in it's full (operational) glory. What's up with that? How do I get Address Book to come up each time it's summoned - minus the work around?!

Did you do an upgrade? Even still, the Leopard installer should have been smart enough to replace Tiger's Address Book with its own. If you create a new user, does this issue still occur?

If you get the non-working Address Book, right click on it in the Dock and select "Show in Finder". Where on your disk is it? To show the path select "Show path bar" from the view menu and see the path on the bottom of the Finder bar.

If you get the working Address Book, right click on it in the Dock and select "Show in Finder". Where on the disk is that one?
