so i have downloaded a couple of .mp4 movies and I am trying to add the movies to my itunes so i can put them on my ipod touch. whenever I try to drag movies into i tunes the green + symbol comes up and when i let go of my mouse button nothing happens. i try to import them and i select them and again nothing happens, no error message whatsoever. the movies play in quick time, and are labelled .mp4 I am also having problems adding movies which previously added to the library (i took them off and tried to add them again). any suggestions?

Try using the Add to Library option (Cmd-O). Then navigate to the folder where they're located.
