So I have 2 email accounts. one it an exchange account that i can can use anywhere. the other is an IMAP account that is only accessible when I am on the company intranet. i do have web access to that account but the web interface is horrible so I want to use entourage instead.

I have the account going fine but when I am at home because of the security on the account I cant check it. Which is fine-I understand my companies reasoning. However entourage still trys to connect to the account and pulls up a error message every time. is there a way to make it so it only checks that account when I am at my office through send recive schedules or something. Its annoying more than anything else.

Thanks

None that I know of that are smart enough to work out where you are.

You could use Switch Identity within Entourage to create two different settings, one for home, one for work. See as they are Exchange/IMAP accounts you wont lose any emails as each account will just sync when connected.

Otherwise turn off the error noise and close the error pop up once and it shouldn't reappear on each failed send and receive. That's what I do.

If they want you to check your work IMAP emails at home tell them to allow you to, you could get a VPN setup if they are worried about security.
