If anyone from Apple is reading this, I would really like a "Print this Page" button, especially when viewing long PDF's such as manuals with index, in Preview, rather than having to go through the print menus, select page, etc.

Be nice for other apps too, though I can't think of any at the moment.

Hi MacNNUK, you can of course the first thing people must do is select View>Customise Toolbar> "drag" Printer to toolbar when you have a PDF open. For those who don't know you'll have to drag Printer for each File type PDF, JPG,Doc & so on but only for the first time, then after it's always shown.

To printer more then one page make sure you have Sidebar shown in Toolbar then after clicking Sidebar select all the pages you want to print by Cmd & Mouse Click, then Cmd+P or just clicking on Printer in Toolbar.
I, Me, Myself & i'm still alone!

I've always had that available, from day one

Have you actually tried that, 'cos it don't work for me, can't select pages when it's just an index, (ie proper PDF), click select only works for individual pages shown in side bar, especially those web pages saved "as PDF"

The get-around, is to save the real PDF as a PDF, within preview, using Print menu, then icons of individual pages are shown in sidebar, and can be selected

Then of course, you lose the individual clickable index (table of contents)

Yes, you can. Switch the sidebar view from "Table of Contents" to "Thumbnails".

That sort of works, but you lose the ability to select page to print from t.o.c.

And you have to select at least two pages thumbnails to print specified ones.

Getting there, but still not ideal.

I count it takes one more click / action to print a specific page than print the page number displayed.

So, back to my original query, a one click button to print the page you're on.

Thanks.
