this is a little difficult to describe:

as soon as I opened Firefox (v 2 0 0 14) I could type in the google search area at the top right and then hit return and get my search before the home page completed loading.

now I can start the typing but it cuts out before I finish and I have to point to the google search area and redo it.

any ideas why? its one of those small things that ends up being:

MacPro 2.66 dual 3GB RAM 1.5 TB HD's
24" + 21" Samsung flat panels
Miglia mini HD (Great!)

Upgrade to Firefox 3?

Also, command-k takes you to the search box.
