I've downloaded some games and apps to my old iPhone (some were free, some i paid for). Early next week (when the riots quiet down), i plan on purchasing a new iPhone 3G.

Am i going to be able to install these games and apps on the new iPhone 3G or are these programs only allowed to be installed on 1 iPhone/iPod Touch at a time? After all, many computer programs won't allow you to install on multiple computers.

Not sure how it would know if it's on multiple devices? Or when you've deleted it from your old device.

Anyhow know how this is going to work?

I think it works the same as the digital restrictions Apple uses for music... you can put it on as many devices as you want as long as they're linked to your iTMS account.
