Hi, I'm new to GarageBand.

I'm having a problem that I can't figure out how to resolve:

There's a tick/click sound (akin to a cowbell) each time I release a piano key (Yamaha Clavinova).

No problems with instruments (they play fine) and no problem with recording tracks. But for the life of me I can't get rid of that clicking (which is often louder than the instrument itself), therefore unable to focus on recording.

I appreciate any help.

Do you have the Audio-MIDI Config Utility running? There's a MIDI test mode (some button at the upper right) that produces results like you describe on ever midi event (such as "Note Up")
