so I have two computers a G5 that has all the movies stored on it and a powerbook I am planning to hook up to my tv to use as media center.
I can't seem to get frontrow on the powerbook to see the itunes library of movies. They just don't show up when i choose the G5 from the Sources menu. I am trying to figure out why.
Thing that may matter:
1 where my movies are located on the G5 : in the movie folder there is a Cinema Folder and a TV folder. in those are individual folders for each movie and files that go with them. Poster.jpg's reference files etc.
2. all movies are actually avi's saved with a quicktime .mov reference file saved in in folder with the avi of the actual movie. This was so I could import into itunes and tag with movie posters and other such info.
3. I know I can just share the drive off the G5 put and alias of the cinema.tv folders in the powerbooks movie folder. but this will not allow me to view all the movie posters/tag data.
