I listen to a lot of AOL Radio and am curious if anyone has a recommended program that can rip the audio with the ID3 tags (e.g. artist, album, genre, etc.)? Thanks.

I just bought Toast Titanium 9 and also just installed it.

I think you can burn streaming radio to disc with it.

Can Toast be used to actually save the songs from the streaming radio station to disc (I thought Toast only burned media).

There's an old app called RadioRecorder that still works in Tiger that will rip and tag a stream to an mp3 file. Not sure if it supports AOL though. Here's a link I found ... contains source code as well. (http://radiorecorder.softonic.de/mac)

Yes, you can capture streaming audio from any source, and build a library, and burn it to disc.

I use StreamripperX.
The GUI might not be pretty but the backend is very mature and reliable. I use it all the time and it hasn’t failed me yet.
