So I have some .flv videos that I want to convert to a more universal format. When I export as a .mov, the file size more than quadruples! I understand that I'm sort of expanding a compressed format but I wanted to see if anyone could suggest the best settings amd file format for a clean and tiny video. I just want to watch them on my computer and my iphone. Right now I'm just using quicktime.

It's kind of funny (ironic?) that video websites moved to flash because it's the most universally supported format (everyone has it, no codec issues), but then you can't play them on your iPhone.

I have now tried converting to .m4v and its pretty decent. Doubles the size of the file but the resolution is great. I guess I can live with this unless someone has a better option.
