My son has would like to transfer his iTunes music to his new Acer laptop from his old one. What is the best way to do this? He has several thousand MP3 tracks. He has a DVD R/W in both so writing to a DVD is possible if that is the correct way to go.

Yeah either back up your library into DVD and transfer it that way or you could use a network to transfer the files!!
