Ok, I have my site done. Bam. Saved, published, on the web.

However, I would like the option to come back and edit that site.

But I want to start work on a NEW site, and when I go to File -> New Site, yeah I get the new site info yada yada, but when I publish THAT site, it publishes BOTH sites!

I can just "Delete" the 1st site, but how can I get that one back into iWeb if I want to edit it later??

What's wrong with publishing both sites? If you didn't make any changes to the first site, nothing needs to be updated, so "publishing" it takes hardly any time.

It asks me for a folder where the site should go, and puts BOTH sites into one folder and produces only 1 index.html. These are 2 completely different sites with 2 completely different URL's and I want them in seperate folders...

When I publish to a folder, it puts every site in different folder, and all of those folders inside whichever folder where I decide to publish. Then I can upload which ever folder I want to a seperate website, and make a copy of the index.html and have it point to the right folder instead of the default one that iWeb chooses.

Yeah. iWeb wasn't made to be a fancy multi-site design app like Dreamweaver or whatnot.

Example"

Your old site is "Site 1"

creat a new site "Site 2".

Copy the old site to "site 2" and improve it.

Publish to a folder.

Delete "site 1" and the index.

You got "site2" on the web.

Any questions?

Veltliner, 2 COMPLETELY different sites. Not an updated version of the same site...I want to be able to come back and make changes to both sites and have them save independently but it always saves and publishes both.
