Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me to do this please.
I recorded a conference call for work and would like to send the recording
to some people who couldn't attend.
The file is in iTunes but when I attached it to an email to send to someone, it wouldn't go because the file was too big--according to the error message in Entourage. (The call lasted one hour and 15 minutes.)
Any suggestions on how I can make the recorded conference call available to
others?
Thanks

Open iTunes, select the file in question and hit Command-I.
Then tell us the Kind, Size and Bitrate so we can help you.

That’s actually a very reasonable size, although indeed too large to email.
I would suggest to upload it to one of the numerous free file-sharing pages out there. You can’t make that file a whole lot smaller.
http://box.net/ seems to be the most popular solution, other alternatives are http://drop.io, http://www.mediafire.com/ and http://www.getdropbox.com/
http://drop.io seems to suit your needs best, simply upload the file there and send the link via email. You can also add a password to the link.
If you own mobileme/.mac you could also upload it to your pubic folder in the iDisk.
