I use quicktime pro to quickly cut up movie and music files on occasion... Delete a logo from the begining of a music video or silence from an over-bloated "hidden track" song...
My gripe with quicktime is every ****ing file you open in quicktime, quicktime will assume you'd like to re-save it as a .mov file... WTF! HOW IS THAT INTUITIVE APPLE!? I really just want to cut the fat out of a file and then save back to the same filename, file format and location like a normal "save" command should... what's worse is when I open an m4a from itunes and export it when i'm done in quicktime the mpeg4 file never comes out to be the same as the itunes! I know itunes uses quicktime to play and convert files so why is this such a pain!
please help
