My e-mail box is flooded with old messages and junk. I have over 1100 messages right now and don't know how to fix the problem. It just started a couple of days ago, and I have never had this to happen before and have use the mac since 1996.

Can you help?

Mail > Preferences

You can choose how long to keep old emails.
