I know there's a program(s) out there that will easily transfer docs, pics, etc from a PC to a MAC.

Could someone recommend such a program? And a brief explanation as to how I would go about it? Please?

Just standard network file sharing, included on both platforms.

With both computers on the same network, share the folder in Windows (right click, share), and then navigate to the Windows computer in Finder on OS X.

Or if that's too hard, email them to yourself, burn them to CD, use a flash drive, any method that you'd use to move files from PC to PC... its not like they have to convert the files to be "Mac compatible" or anything.
