Hello all.

I have a bunch of folders and rules in my mail.app. One is that when my credit card company sends me an email regarding my account, it gets filtered into it's designated folder.

This is working great, but is there any way i can have mail alert me when something new is filed into a specific folder. I have a bunch of unread messages in that folder, but from now on I want to have an alert when something new goes into it, so I dont miss my payments.

I marked all of them as read, and i was trying to visually notice if there was a new unread email, but since it is in a couple sub folders, i still have to remember to look, especially if i close all the subfolders to save space on the sidebar.

any plugins or settings? thanks!

Maybe a custom search folder where criteria is those subfolders + status=unread.

Add a Run AppleScript action to the rule that runs an AppleScript that displays an alert dialog.

Or add the Bounce icon in the Dock action.
