Greetings all,
I'm a teacher in training, currently working on my student teaching as we speak. For these few years now I've been using Word to make worksheets and tests and the like, and you know what? I'm sick of it. Maybe I'm just a fool, but with Word I just cannot drag pictures or make boxes and place them anywhere I want! Margins are messed up, text shifts, fonts change; there are a whole bunch of problems.
Anyways, the only program I know that wold allow me to do such a thing with any sort of consistency would be Microsoft Publisher. I do have Publisher, and I do have VMWare with Windows installed, but to be quite frank, I don't want to be in the Windows terribly often. The actual image for VMWare is stored on an external, and since I don't bring that with me much it's really for home use only.
So my question is this; is there a Mac application/program that is equatable to Publisher in some way? Or, is Word still the way to go, but I'm just looking at it the wrong way? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
