In Safari I recently have been getting this message:
"A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 9 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script? Yes_No"
Safari and to some extent, Firefox, come to a halt.
What is this?

Is it confined to a few sites?

Update to the latest Flash plugin, version 10.

No particular site. If version 10 is still beta, I don't think I should download it yet.

Can you link to a specific Flash page/media that gives you the alert? We can try it on our systems to see if we get the same thing.

Actually, there was still another update from 9.0.116 to 9.0.124 that I hadn't updated to yet, so now I've updated to 9.0.124 and I'll see how that works.
