I've tried using iMovie, but after HOURS of importing, and then launching iDVD to burn it, it tells me that the movie is too long, won't fit on a DVD, EVERY TIME. Is there another program that will do what I need? I'm looking to take qt movies, convert them to DVD format, and burn them to DVDs so I can watch them on DVD players, anyone? Bueller? Anyone??

How long is the movie? I've never run into that error, and I used to burn DVDs like they were going out of style.

The last one I tried was 1 hour 42 minutes, the first was 2 hours 6 minutes, so I cut it down to 1 hour 58 minutes. I assumed 2 hrs or less would work...
