I'm working with iTunes 7.7.1 and I am loading iTunes with books from CD's. Harry Potter and other tales for my son's iPod.

These book recordings are piling up in the Music Folder when I'd rather isolate them if I can into the Audiobooks file section. But it doesn't appear as if I can easily move them into this section. As it is they show up in the music folder with a lot of blank cover pages on the jukebox/album shuffle.

Anyone know of a way to do this, or otherwise when uploading these CDs how to identify them as an audiobook instead of a music file?

Thanks.

Update to iTunes 8 then do File->Info->Options->Media Kind: Audiobooks.

Where I been at? Same place I've always been -- which is to say, peering over the horizon from my patch o' dirt. And what i saw meant i had less time to waste here. Better to spend the time left digging in to try and lesson getting hit as badly by all the flying crappola that is now truly beginning to hit the proverbial fan.

AFAIC, we are just getting an appetizer of the main courses yet to arrive our way.

Best to lay low and stock up with popcorn, whiskey & weed. It's gonna be one hell-of-a-show! In fact, it already is!

Anyway, thanks for giving me a shout-out. I remember folks like you too and wish you luck in the daze ahead.

Oh, do you know what happened to the lifeboat site? It ain't where it used to be.

Cheers!
