Hello~
I am new to this, so please tell me if I'm in the incorrect forum!

I have a macbook computer, and I was wondering if I could download MSN on it. I don't use chat applications much(other than ichat or AIM) and my main concern is that there is an application that will allow me to chat with others who use PC MSN?
This is all very new and confusing to me... Sorry if this question seems very basic.

I have no problems chatting with Pc users on MSN, using Adium. You'll find it at macupdate.com

I'm not familiar with ebuddy.

No need to go to macupdate.com when you can go straight to the source for Adium.

Adium is really nice but AFAIK it like Messenger:mac doesn't support offline messaging, which I find annoying, if you want to be able to do offline messaging with someone over MSN you have to use the Yahoo Messenger client which is compatible with MSN albeit you need to get a free Yahoo account, your buddies can be on MSN or Yahoo, doesn't matter at all.

I love Adium but if you do any significant file transfers over MSN you may want to stick with the standard Microsoft offering, as Adium is incredibly slow for file transfers.
