Since I got a new screen for my iMac, I cannot see any red in iWeb.

Even if I put the RED slider to the max, and the other two to the left, all I get is ORANGE.

Usually I'd say there is a calibration problem.

But Photoshop and all other photo apps seem to be OK.

Could there be a problem with iWeb.

(If you are not color dependent you might not believe that such a thing can drive you nuts. Believe me: it can)

Maybe the problem is you are trying to treat the app like it is Photoshop? Underneath the GUI you are still dealing with CSS. Why not make the adjustments by hand rather than wrestling with the GUI?

Direct answer upfront: I'm currently checking for possible color management problems, and I'm going after any weird color appearance.

Apart from that: you're right. I shouldn't work with iWeb, but do it myself.

I already bought books on Xhtml and Css, but I have beeb so busy that I couldn't get around it.

In order to focus my question: could it be iWeb that messes up the color? (it did produce a good red before I got the new screen).
