When my hard drive failed a while back I used data rescue to get all of my data back. In this were songs. Most of the songs were able to be retrieved metadata and all but a couple were not able to be ( about 500). They show up with the name M0------ in order from the time they were recovered. I'm looking for a program that is able to automatically scan the songs and figure out what they are and fill in the metadata. I have done this myself for about 200 and I am just growing tired of it. I have found a couple programs that are able to identify the songs but still require me to input the data. Does anyone know of an app, preferably free, that would do this for me?

Auto-identify by waveform *and* auto-enter ID tags?
I doubt such a thing exists, but it sounds €xpen$ive.

Most people simply head for their backup disk(s).
[my music is too important, i have it synced to several
Macs as well as a dedicated FireWire backup disk.]
