I have a MacBook plugged into a DVI monitor with a miniDVI adaptor. Using the developer mode in Dashboard, I am able to keep widgets on the external monitor's desktop all the time, which is very useful. However, when I unplug the cable, the widgets go onto the laptop (main) display which is annoying. Is there any way to make these widgets disappear when the external monitor is disconnected, then re-appear when it's plugged back in?

Hope I'm explaining this clearly.
