We got a new printer here at work (Nothing fancy, just a OKi C6150) for inside printing and InDesign CS3 seems to be having a problem with it.
No matter what I change the settings to, or what I install or update, InDesign always prints out only HALF the page, and even then it's distorted. Even though I have it in my printing prefs to do otherwise. (I am not a newb.. this is why this is flabbergasting me) Most ever other application I have used prints fine. For example, if I take that InDesign ad, save it as an EPS, then make into a PDF, and print it from Preview, it prints beautifully. Anyone have any suggestions as to why this would be happening?
I admit, while I have been in the graphics business for a long time, I never really did a lot of TECH work. Our IT people are always weird about us stepping on their toes, and I can't get them to take the time out and come up and here say "MOOOOOVE" and fix it (if they even could, I don't have a lot of hope for them) But my knowledge about printers and such isn't up to par as it should be. I've always just been mostly a graphics person. Never cared about the hardware or geek aspect of it. Never had to.
