Go ahead, you know you want to...

...that's better.
I had a window pop up yesterday asking me to update Google Talk. I don't have Google Talk. I do, however have Google Earth and Sketchup, and this app said nothing about them (usually would show 'em, say they're up to date). Upon further examination, I don't even have Google updater on my system.
The app that popped up behaved strangely..no icon in the dock. When I clicked on it, OSX said I was talking to the finder. I had Firefox open, but as I said, not a Firefox window. Doesn't show up as a Firefox extension. Little Snitch said nothing about it, which means it came through one of a small number of already-open ports.
I'm running 10.5 on a Macbook. It's updated regularly, was then up to date and I
thought was pretty damn well locked down.
Anyone else want a ticket about the just-got-screwed-by-my-trust-for-Google-paranoia train?
