burning an idvd project on a dual layer disc

Have shot and edited a wedding. Total length is 2 hours and 35 minutes. Split it into two parts for idvd 08. Burning at Best Performance but using dual layer Verbatim. In Project Info, set for dual layer which with menus makes the project 4.42 gigs so fine in terms of capacity. But when burning it, when it gets finished mulitplexing, it states "multiplexing error, error during formatting". The funny thing is I burned DVD One (same length within 2 minutes) and it burned fine. Wedding was shot with 3 chip camcorders and the images look almost HD in quality. Went to DVD Two and now have this issue. Double checked that no chapter markers on any transitions etc. Any suggestions?
