I do counseling. I usually record my sessions on a casette tape recorder with clients and give them a copy. Some of them are requesting CDs. I checked out a few reasonably priced office digital audio recorders. They say WMA. I have a Mac. I can burn MP3 files to a CD.

Do I need to convert these WMA files before I can put them into iTunes and then burn a disc?

I am not an audio type guy. I want to record voices and burn a disc as easily as possible, while I chat with the client right after the session ad before they leave.

Any input?

I don't think iTunes on the Mac supports it but iTunes on Windows will convert WMAs into MP3s if you import them.

I just got a new Mac Book a few months ago, and the WAV files I record from my digital camera won't open in iTunes or Garage Band (but will open in Quick Time). Would this program help?

iTunes won't convert them unless you're in Windows, but other utilities will.
