YouTube videos auto-start on Safari?

Recently, whenever I open multiple YouTube tabs in Safari, each video begins playing, as if I'm focusing on each tab. It used to not do this, as the video buffered but did not start playing. Does it have something to do with Safari 4, and is there some hidden setting that could fix this problem?
