Hi, I'm using Leopard, fully updated.

When I write a movie in iDVD, I use a .avi file, drag it from its location, then do my menu's etc. This is the way I've been doing it now for around a year.

I bought new Verbatim DVD-R, then my problems started. I start playing the movie and the 1st 10mins or so has sound, the rest of the movie none. Then returned them, got a refund, then bought Tesco's DVD-R but the same problem. I've used Tesco's DVD-R allot. So the problem must be with iDVD.

Anyone has suggestions???

Thanx

Apple needs to fix THEIR problem. There is a serious iDVD problem in that sound is disappearing after discs are burned. The other day I placed a disc in my home DVD Player that I had made with iDVD. Before it played, I FAST-FORWARDED the disc to the middle, I them played. The disc worked, but 10 minutes later, all sound disappeared! Is this an emulsion problem with discs that are made using iDVD? All disc appear to work for only 10mins.

I've solved mine, I had to format my HDD anyways, so I've done a fresh install, but I contacted Apple Us to tell them about this, I'm sure they know anyway.

Before I formatted my HDD, I uninsalled iDVD but it didn't work, the only way is formatting and doin a clean installation of Leopard.

Cheers

p.s: I couldn't any solutions, so maybe you're right, Apple needs to fix this.
