Lets focus in on the stability of iLife 09 as many of us won't upgrade until we know how it handles. iLife08 is very stable, so i expect great things in the new version.

What exactly do you mean by stability in this context? Do you mean, "does it crash a lot?" or do you mean, "are the features stable enough for normal use?" I would hope that an update of an existing product would be "stable."

I'm more interested in hearing about the functionality, the new features, and if the package is worth it, especially if iMovie '09 gets closer to what iMovie (6) HD was.

I don't think we need a thread about the stability of the package, mostly because apple's applications are generally very stable. I'm with Steve, I'd like to discuss the actual functionality, for instance, does iWeb allow multi-tiered websites now, or is it still limited to a single level.

What about iLife 09's *emotional* stability?

Can it really turn memories of totally crappy family vacations into wholesome, happy occasions?

Will it really make your life not suck quite as much before irrevocably crashing your system and rendering your ego unbootable?

And will it improve the quality of threads on internet forums?

That is what I want to know.

so far, the stability is very good.
the only quibble is the scrolling and such in iphoto is a bit wonky at time.
