First, it says this is fully functioning, yet i swear Pages I can't get stuff to light up to select. It's gray under the drop down menus.

I'm trying to make the background of a page a color other than white, and I google some tips on how to do it. But none of the ways to do it are available to me.

Does anyone know how to turn a blank white page into a color and continue to proceed as normal. I tried it with an object, but it wouldn't like be use ARRANGE to move it in background.

It'll work... once you add another object to the page (like a text box, or whatever).
