Recently, I get a pop up dialogue box when in Yahoo mail
that just says: "www.tumri.net" 'here!' and an 'OK' button...
I use an iMac G4.... w/ OSX 10.5

I assume it's some kind of phishing/scam site - I haven't gone there.
How can I stop this dialogue box from popping up?
(I do have the Block Pop-Up windows checked in Safari)...

Thanks!

OK, when I googled it I got this:
http://www.exterminate-it.com/malpedia/remove-tumri-net

part of it says:
tumri.net Categorized as:
Tracking Cookie
Normally, cookies, which are small text files that certain Web sites leave on computers to store information identifying users and customize Web site content for them (such as the user’s Web site settings and preferences, a list of visited pages, computer details, and shopping card information), are harmless. However, some cookies may be used to track and transmit browsing preferences or other private information to online marketers and spammers.

and

Detecting tumri.net:
Annoying popups keep appearing on your PC
tumri.net may swamp your computer with pestering popup ads, even when you're not connected to the Internet, while secretly tracking your browsing habits and gathering your personal information.
E-mails that you didn't write are being sent from your mailbox

tumri.net may gain complete control of your mailbox to generate and send e-mail with virus attachments, e-mail hoaxes, spam, and other types of unsolicited e-mail to other people.

---> I did look in my cookies, and removed it... I hope that fixes it! Geesh!

Download and use SafariBlock. It could be an errant ad server loading something that triggers the pop-up.

You said you have already cleared your cookies. Clear your cache to just to be safe (Safari > Reset Safari).
