I am trying to build a photo reference library of buildings and architectural details from photos I have been collecting. It needs to be clean and uncluttered looking, You might describe it as an electronic book. I am not sure if I need to create it as a web page (for my private use), pages document (tried but couldn't figure out how to get past limitations), or something else. Iphoto had some of the things I want but it wasn't quite there either. I have some specific ideas of things I would like it to do.
1. Have a table of contents with links to each building or set of photos I add. I can build it manually if I have to but some kind of auto updatig would rock.
2. Each set of photos will have:
a paragraph of information specific to that set
a table containing information that every set will have (ex architect, city, year built)
One large photo
several smaller photos that will enlarge whenever the pointer hovers over them (couldn't figure out how to do this in pages or keynote)
3. It would be really great if each individual photo could have keywords so that I could search for certain types of things without going through all the photo sets ( ex door, window, slate)
Maybe I am getting to complicated but I have decent computer skills and can usually create the projects I imagine.
Thanks
