Hi All,

I can't search "Entire message" in Mail anymore.

I _can_ search "From", "To" and "Subject", but I want to search for a term in the body of my emails. I'm running OSX 10.5.6 on a Mac Pro, and Mail is version 3.5

I've rebuilt the relevant mailbox databases, any other suggestions?

I just did a "Software Update" last night and now "Entire Message" is grayed out. I'm on Mail Version 3.5 (929.4/929.2).

Any help would be great.

Entire message in the Find message dialog refers to find & replace, not simple mail search. And searches always search the entire message by default. Just type in the search field next to the toolbar buttons in the main mail viewer window.

Is your mail set up as IMAP? If it is, the only solution I've found was to create a new user and start from scratch. I ran into this problem as well and I couldn't find a solution that worked.
