I have a dilemma and hope that someone here can help me, I have a document that I saved in Pages '09 and want to take to work to print, but the computers at work are (dare I say it) PC's I can not open the document, is there something that I need to do to accomplish this task ?

The only thing you can really do is save them as PDFs or another file format that PCs can open.

If you want to simply print them, convert them to pdf. If you want to work with it, convert them to rtf or word format. Note that the latter may mess up the document a little.
