I have downloaded the new safari.
BUT where ( and why) has it gone?
I can't find it anywhere.
Help me, please.

Which Mac OS X are you running?, be it 10.5 then Safari could be inside the Downloads folder, look for it in your Dock, probably side by side with the Trash icon.
Or use Spotlight to find it.

10.5, but it is not in the downloads folder after I expanded it, after fully loading.
Spotlight does not find it...

Check your browser's preferences to see where downloaded files get saved. Or just download it again.

It's in the white hard disk that appeared on your desktop.
