I've got a couple of mp3 videos but my DVD player cannot play them. It can play many formats - AVI the most common.

I do not seem to have anything (Toast, etc..) that would convert, but when I Google 'mp3 to avi Mac' I get some Free program that is anything but free. ..only the first 5min.

Do you use anything to make this conversion? Thanks.

You probably mean MP4 since MP3 is audio only.

Anyway, you could give Handbrake a try. It's free and it can save AVI videos. However, avi is a container format, the actual video and audio inside is recorded in one of several possible codec formats. You'd have to figure out which codec your DVD player supports. If it's DivX for example, Handbrake encoded AVIs might not work.

Tet: Of course you're correct MP4... Handbrake loaded in 30sec. ...and 20sec later started the conversion. Thanks!

You could try switch as well. (Download from Apple's Site)
Price: Free

However, if handbrake will do it, great!
