Hi Guys,

We're a small design/media company (4 people) and we're looking for a good, networkable, cross platform way of tracking and billing our work and contacts. Seems like there is an endless supply of solutions out there but it's tough to weed through all of them. If anyone has any personal recommendations they'd be greatly appreciated.

So far the two that have stood out to us are Studiometry (http://www.oranged.net/) and Daylite (http://www.marketcircle.com). Studiometry has a larger feature set and even seems to be cross platform, but DayLite does have the nice mail integration add on you can buy.

Thanks for any advice!

Jack,

I would seriously consider Studiometry. I have used it in my photo studio for almost a year. It puts my husband and I on the same page and helps immensely with getting billing done quickly and accurately. I mainly focus on using the time-tracking and invoicing options, but I have found something new to use with almost every release. They update often and the support is great about getting back to you (No seriously though they do and this is a rare thing these days).

My office has been using Daylite for over a year now and we really like it. To be honest I am still not scratching the surface of everything it does. We also run it on our server and sync remotely once a day - a very cool feature.
