Hi,

I have Adobe CS4 Master Collection installed on my powerbook g4 (1.67ghz) and am looking to buy a new aluminum macbook pro this week and was just wondering would migration assistant copy all of my copy of CS4 to my new macbook without any problem

I was given the applications from my old job and no longer have access to the disks.

Thanks

Migrating should work, however, you may need reactivate on your new computer. Be sure to do a TIme Machine backup of your old system first. With non-academic Adobe licenses, you can have 2 activations per serial number, unless it's a volume license. But you can't use both copies at the same time. So it will depend on what type of license you have. You may have to go in the software on your old computer and deactivate first, then reactivate on your new computer. I would try just a straight migration first, but you may have to manually copy some file in your system that Adobe installs in weird places.
