do you all know how on google when you do a search and you click on the links it gives you they turn a different color letting you know youve clicked on it. safari does that for me with google but not with a certain website. here is the website im talking about>
http://www.mixtapetorrent.com/4-clas...y-slay-dj-envy
just so you all know when i use firefox and click on these links they turn purple but not on safari. and also i have my history set on delete after 1 day and i have the database storage set at 1 megabite. is there any way to fix this?

The color that visited links turn is purely at the discretion of the website deveoper, not the browser developer.

The CSS rule is a:visited. I'm not saying that some browsers may ignore or have different defaults for this value, but they should respect what the developer has specified.

FireFox has an option to change the colors of visited links. It also has an option to let the page decide rather than the local preferences. I can't find options like that in Safari.
However, not every page uses CSS; there should be a LOT of pages that don't bother with coding what happens with their links too.

So Firefox changes the default link colors for visited links, but it respects different defaults provided by the developer, right?
I don't really see the point in counting on visited links to be purple when/if developers can override this default at their discretion.

Depends. You can tell Firefox to override custom link colors globally. By default, this option is not enabled.
