I use Postbox as my mail client. I like it very much, but there's one problem:
It shows that I have one unread message, but it's not showing me what that message is. What's the problem?

Oh, never mind. The message that was being replied to had a subject that had been used before, so it went further down in my inbox than I would have thought.

I've had the same problem, but with Thunderbird 3 beta (and Thunderbird 2). I ended up quitting the program and relaunching it, which fixed the issue most times. Haven't had the problem with Postbox yet, but since it's based on the Mozilla code like Thunderbird, it couldn't hurt to try quitting and relaunching.

I did that. The reason is, I still have conversation view enabled, so it just puts the unread mark on that conversation.

Next time, if you want people to be able to help you you will need to specify whether you are connecting via POP or IMAP.

How many people are using IMAP anyway? Aren't the rules almost exactly the same?

I don't know how to answer that, cwkmacuser... How many people in the world are using it? Here on MacNN? What do you mean by the rules being exactly the same? Do you understand the differences between POP and IMAP?
