am working with someone who needs a 5-6 hour video for an installation.
we have the source materials in imovie 09. if i make a long film there, can i export it to quicktime?
so that we can run the entire movie from a macbook pro.

any thoughts? issues? or should this be okay...

thanks!

I don't see why there would be any problem. It will take a *long* time to export, though.

Maybe you could just play the movie full-screen in iMovie instead of having to export it.

Perhaps it's more prudent to chop it up into little pieces. I suppose that makes editing and exporting things quicker. If you want to change one part, you don't have to re-render all the others.

these are dance clips, all cross-fading into each other. it will play continuous in an art installation.
am gonna work on it tomorrow, render it to QT overnight, see how it plays.

any other thoughts anyone before i dive in? & thanks4 above comments..
