Is there a way to resize photos in iPhoto? Currently the only way I've found is to email them to myself. Before the email is created it asks what size I'd like to send. Maybe there is another app that will resize photos. I tried JetPhoto but that didn't have any resizing either.

iPhone does not resize, because it always keeps the original and therefore the image is always in its original size. When you export the images to disk (File or Share->Export...) you can specify a size though.

Preview can also resize images, and if you need to batch-resize images, you can use Automator.
